Set decorators are a mystery to the viewers. Most people don't notice their and that's exactly the way they want it to be. A set decorator crafts and empty space, a blank canvass to a lived in home, worked in office, dark alley or any other space as imagined by the writer. Imagine starting with nothingness and developing complex characters from only highly selected words on a page. William DeBiasio is a set decorator and member of the Set Decorators Society of America. William's work includes Pretty Little Liars, Famous In Love and Skyscraper. DeBiasio's work is transformative and he explains his process, and inspiration.
