Sure, you have been thinking about 2020 since before Christmas. But there is something powerful about that first full week of January. It represents unbridled optimism and a fresh start. That being said, it also can be daunting as you look back over that list you have been adding to for weeks now in anticipation of this week.
There is no magic to tackling that list. The muscle memory is already there and all that's missing is the spark to get that big wheel turning. Like every new project, starting is the hardest part. It's the same principle when you look at a rocket launch. Getting off the ground is the hardest part. It requires a major, short burst to gain lift and momentum. Send out those emails and make some calls. Call those clients who you have spoken to about their design project and see who is ready to go.

The opportunity is there, but if you just look at that screen this week and don't make the effort, it will be an opportunity lost. Use the upcoming opportunities to learn and connect with new prospective clients. You have to call people if you want them to call you back. A good friend said that over drinks a few years ago...and she was right.
You can do this, so go do this. be great and keep creating.
